Module 10 sets the goal to present information and concepts about Virtual and Augmented Reality through a practical approach allowing end-users to have access to the most simplified insight into these fantastic technologies.
At the very beginning of Module 10, participants will be introduced to the concepts of Virtual and Augmented Reality, in general. What do they represent and what are the differences between them?
In order to learn about these fantastic technologies in practice, Unit 2 is introducing the students to knowledge about key terms for creating 360-degree videos including how it fits into VR.
With this knowledge, students will be able to create a 360-degree video with a good understanding of what is needed to be done for such a presentation. In Unit 3, the Module provides students with all information about the VR pre-production process such as the basics of writing and planning 360-degree videos, how to prepare for a 360-degree production, and who should make up the team.
Information related to VR cameras and the start of production are given to students in Unit 4.
Once these lessons are adopted, the next step is how to deal with the recording and the last lesson covers VR postproduction and publishing.
